• Design concept preparation, either on my own or in conjunction with project architect, to achieve the aesthetic coordination with the lobby and building within budget guidelines, utilizing vandal resistant materials where possible and details to maximize serviceability and ease of maintenance and / or repair.

  • Calculate weight to be added to existing cabs to make certain that added weight allowances establish by the elevator consultant and/or elevator contractor.

  • Prepare drawings, specifications and bid documents to be sent to selected pre-qualified elevator cab fabricators and installers. Prepare spreadsheet and assist in the examination of bids and award of contract.

  • Coordinate and schedule with elevator service modernization company for any work falling within their scope required in conjunction with the elevator cab installation and ADA code requirements.

  • Design car control panels and swing front panels to blend with the interior cab design, including selection of buttons and devices, graphics, engraving, overall layout and ADA code requirements.

  • Revue shop drawings for conformance to design and bid documents, code requirements and elevator equipment interface.

  • Supervision of project including periodic visits to supplier facility during material fabrication and job site installation to examine and maintain quality standards and adherence to schedules.

  • Inspect job upon completion to make certain that contract requirements have been met. Create punch list as necessary to assure that the project is completed to the highest quality standards.
